Citadel LIVE is C+C’s performing arts series, featuring distinctive artists investigating a wide range of artistic practices to make way for the exploration and advancement of Canadian contemporary dance.
Identifying a need for more showcase opportunities in Toronto, C+C created Citadel LIVE (formerly Bright Nights) in 2015, a performing arts series encouraging artistic risk and innovation that has since presented the work of over 100 choreographers from across Canada, and has grown to encompass integral annual platforms Night Shift and Citadel Dance Exchange, each established to provide important performance opportunities for underrepresented, emerging, and established creators in the city.
