In an oneiric liminal space, a being goes through a profound metamorphosis, shedding skin after skin, taming the fire within. This virtuosic and visceral composition blends conversations about solitude, spirituality, queerness and our divine essence, immersing the audience in a sensory triangular experience where music, lights and movement intertwine. Alternating between dizzying vulnerability, animalistic physicality and a black box science-fiction esthetique, this first full evening solo from Charles-Alexis Desgagnés is an introduction to his choreographic universe and the first piece of a trilogy of works. The piece was cocreated in close and intimate collaboration with the whole team.
