Listen in on our conversation with Lukas Malkowski, choreographer and performer of Microphone Controller.
Part rock concert, part dance performance, Microphone Controller weaves Sign Language, voice, and movement to tell the story of a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult) rockstar. In Lukas’ words, Microphone Controller is an exploration of their “Signed voice, sung voice, and choreographic voice,” creating a character who performs for both Deaf and hearing audiences.
